My name is Jess Abbotts, and I'm a 25-year-old actor originally hailing from East Hampton, Connecticut. This means that despite my love for Wendy Williams' ICONIC performance on The Masked Singer, I am NOT a "Native New Yorker"!
I moved to Long Island in late 2022 after graduating from Western Connecticut State University's Theatre Performance and Music programs. Meanwhile, I got my improv kicks acting as both Secretary and Performance Team Member of Western Improv Group (WIG).
Outside of the theater, I am an avid Sims player, Taco Bell eater, and court jester of every home I walk into. I spend my days at the whim of my cat, Fern, often referred to as "Princess of the World" or "Destroyer of Worlds" depending on her level of ire for mankind at that moment. Much to her chagrin, Fern is now the older sister to a chirpy, chunky tabico named Celeste; together, they destroy my apartment AND warm my heart.
Currently, you can find me starring in Tennessee Williams’ “Suddenly Last Summer” at Westbury Arts and as a scare actor in the Summer House Season 9 episode “Summer Scaries”!
